The bollywood's most popular khan, Salman has been found guily today in 2002 hit and run case. The judge at Mumbai session court orderd him five years in jail as punishment.
Many bollywood actors came out in support of Salman including his family members, who were present in te court at the tine of verdict. Salman denied all the charges against him and said that he was not driving the car. Apparently, the judge turned down his statement.
He said, "All charges against you are proven. Court has come to conclusion that you were driving the car under the influence of alcohol." The Defence asked if he could pay all the compensation that is required, but the Public Prosecutor demanded a maximum sentence of 10 years for Salman Khan.
The actor was seen in tears when the verdict was being read out. His mother is not keeping well. Even both the sister Alvira and Arpita could not control their emotions and tears rolled down their cheeks.
Finally, the judge announced his decision that the actor is guilty and will be sent to jail immediately for 5 years. He will be taken into custody from the court. Security has been tightened. Salman gets to meet only his family members.
